Ride or Die Chick

I took these pictures yesterday before work at the break-a-break-a dawn. I made it out of the house in record time (thank you day 3 dirty ponytail), took some blog shots, fought traffic, and still made it to work about an hour earlier than normal. What's with all of the early morning ambition you ask? I have no friggin' clue. They say red is a power color. Apparently it gave me SUPA powers. I got some serious "ish" done yesterday, but my all time favorite part of the day was spending 4 uninterrupted hours with my bestie and her brand new, 6 week old baby girl. We lounged side by side on the couch, wore stretch pants, had the Food Network on in the background, surfed the web looking at jewelry, fed, burped, and changed her little gorgeous, sweet Peanut, and laughed at things that only the two of us find funny. My BFF is my "Ride or Die Chick". We used to live fast, stay up late, drink too much (too often), and go out every weekend. Things are much calmer these days, but I have to say that last night was one of the best nights I have had in a long time. That little tangent had nothing to do with fashion, but so what. This is my blog and I'll write a love letter to stretch pants, babies, and the Food Network if I want to! BAM.

    Melissa, red is soooo YOUR colour, that blazer and the heels are super feminine and stylish plus it gives your super power ;-)
    For some reason I woke up very early this week too and got so many things done and I didn't even wear red hahahaha ;-). Must have been the muscle relaxation pills I took the nights before that gave me full energy and made me pass out very early too hahahaha, my bf asked me on skype right after I took it "Are you on drugs again" :-D
    And I have no clue why I write you that stuff :-)

    Does your boyfriend live in the States?

    I work in Corporate America as a Technology Recruiter for a large financial institution. I recruit Architects and Developers for Digital Channels Technology. The develop what we use to conduct banking on our cell phones, and ipads. Are you asleep yet? HAHAHA
