The Cowfish: Sushi Burger Bar

Last night we met up with two of our best couple friends for a little triple date action at The Cowfish. If you are from the Charlotte area, chances are you have heard of The Cowfish. If you have not though, please allow me to introduce you. Sweet LAWD, this place is amazing. The Cowfish brings to the world the first restaurant focusing on offering both the best sushi AND the best burger in town. Sound weird? It is. Whats weirder is their "Burgushi"...a blend of both worlds. Last night my boyfriend ordered The Taste Explosion Roll. It is Angus ground beef, bacon, fresh jalapenos and spicy cream sauce inside of a sushi roll coated with tempura flakes. In.Sane. We over-ordered, had some cocktails, and left fat and happy (with to-go boxes). I love this place and just thought I'd share. This is what I wore to dinner. Some simple white skinny jeans (with the bottoms rolled up to give a cropped effect), a flowy, black racer-back tank, and some new heels. I always wear new heels for the first time when I know I am going to be spending most of the night on my butt, and that I will back home in 2-3 hours. It's never a good look to be that girl who is limping around with feet that hurt so bad that they make your stomach hurt. Has that ever happened to you? It's happened to me and it's NOT fun. You look like a fool and your night is a total and complete bust. My manicure inspired me to accessorize with white and red. Corny? Perhaps. I have never worn these little nail stickers, but you can get them everywhere from Wal-Mart to Sephora. They come right off with nail polish remover and are a great alternative to polish. If you are afraid of coming off a little too junior-high with all ten fingers donned in nail art, just do a couple of fingers like this. Hope you guys are all having a great weekend!
