Ayrsley Town Center (off the 485 and South Tryon Exit) is now home to a new boutique called, Elle VJ. Well, the boutique is not new, it started out in a few local malls, then had space in NoDa, and now permanently resides in the cute little town center at Ayrsley (12 minutes south of Uptown). If you are looking for funky shoes, a cute party dress, costume jewelry (most handmade by D'Quisite, a local artist), or trendy, casual clothes you may just want to do yourself a favor and check them out. Oh, and have I mentioned that their prices are really reasonable? I know when the word "boutique" is thrown out there, budget-conscious fashionistas (we) get nervous, but never fear, you can get quite a bit for your money here! The shirt in the last photo was only $24.00 (so, naturally, I left with it). The owner, LaVonndra Johnson, is a sweetheart and would be happy to show you around. She is hosting the grand opening of her new location this Sunday (2 days from now) from 1-4pm! Come!!
