Ninja Kicks and Acrylic Nails

1. I look like an Easter Egg. I know this.  Appropriately enough I wore this outfit Easter weekend. Yup.. wore it last Saturday, then again Thursday night out to dinner with my manfriend, then again last night out for drinks with friends. It's not that I think I look especially good in it, it's just that every time I take it off I have hung the shirt up and folded the jeans. So, they are just there... staring at me, begging to be worn again. I think last night was the finale though... I need to wash this shit. It is time.

2. Look at these nails. These ain't yo mama's acrylic nails. Long, and mint green... these things are sayin' something. I fought the long, round nail trend for a while (for practicality's sake) but about a week ago  caved. I wanted to try them out... and you know what? I love them. I mean, being able to pick change up off of the floor? Who needs to do that anyway? If it falls, it was meant to be donated to the next passerby anyway, right? I will say that I wear more sports bras these days. I can't be bothered with the clasps. Ain't no one got time for that bull hokey. Also... my mint nails match my new watch.  That makes me happier than it should.

3. Random: I'm in a little cafe as I write this and the tables are really close to one another, so I can easily overhear the two women next to me. Their conversation so far has consisted of commenting on how one of their friends should work out more, how another raises her kids ("all wrong"), and how their yoga instructor looks like she has "put on a little weight". Sweet Lord. I want to ninja kick them both in the mouth. Be NICE, would ya? Geez Louise. Ya'll give women a bad rap. Get it together, biiiitches.
