New Jeans and a New Drinking Game

You may, or may not (probably "may not") have noticed that I am not a big wearer of jeans. I don't know why. I guess I just don't find them very comfortable. I'm pretty animated, always jumping around or doing some weird dance. Most jeans are conducive to weird dancing and high kicks. I have, however,  recently gotten a new pair of jeans from lotus (where I work PT) and have hardly taken them off since. I've had them for a week and a half (so... what...10 days?) and I have worn them at least 5 times. True story. They are mid-high waisted, have a bit of a flare leg, and a dark wash. They kind of lift the butt, elongate the leg, and a dark wash is even, dare I say... slimming. I love them. They are made by Cult of Individuality. If you get them, buy one size smaller. I got my regular size and they stretch easily so I am constantly pulling them up. The best part though... when they stretch out, they stretch at the waist (read between the lines: NO SAGGY ASS). I have never, not once fallen in love with a pair of jeans, but I am most definitely going steady with these little buggers. The only other thing worth mentioning about this outfit is the elephant necklace I have hanging around my neck. I got it from KK Bloom's table at FRONT ROW CHARLOTTE (the fashion show I wrote about a few posts ago). I collect elephants. My friends joke that they are going to start a drinking game... "let's walk around Melissa's house and chug a drink every time you we see an elephant". You would be drunk in 5 minutes. Maybe 4.

Oh, and I have cute blue pumps on. Teal. Fun, right?
