Boise, Idaho... Oh You Fancy, Huh?

If you didn't already pick up on it... this is what I wore to a wedding this weekend. We were in Boise, Idaho and my manfriend was the Best Man. How dapper does this dude, look? Come on now!!! I wasn't sure what to wear, but I assumed a few things...

1). You can never go wrong with an LBD (little black dress).
2). Boise, Idaho... there are quite a few Mormons, so nothing super-duper short or tight, and nothing too revealing.

So... I covered up the ol' decolletage, and most of my arms (when I was not jutting my arm out for "skinny arm" in photos, my arms were actually pretty much completely covered).  I was glad I considered the Mormon thing, because there were actually quite a few at the wedding we attended, and although I got a few stares, I don't think that I offended anyone too badly. I mean... don't get crazy.... I did not forsake my go-to hooker heels. Nor, did I accessorize in a tasteful manner. There is a fine line between decent... and boring; and in the words of the late, great, Marilyn Monroe... "It's better to be absolutely ridiculous than to be absolutely boring!".

We had a GREAT time this weekend. It was the first time I had met the Bride and Groom and they were awesome (and so were their families). The wedding was beautiful, everyone was nice, the reception was a ball...  and to boot, I found out that I LOVE Boise, Idaho. It is gorgeous there. It has a picturesque downtown area, lots of little shops and restaurants, it's nestled between hills, and everyone is SO nice (did I say that already)?

Oh... and my apologies for the 14 year old camera in the mirror "selfies". I was stuck in a hotel room by myself with no tripod. Buuut, I had washed my hair, shaved, and put on a sparkly dress. A blog post was getting done. I was forced  to work with what I had... which at that point was only a mirror and opposable thumbs.
